Exciting news for families in Bucks County!
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, I will be hosting a very special event at the Children’s Library in the Free Library of Northampton Township.
I’m thrilled to be reading my award-winning children’s book, What I Can Be Is Up To Me—a story that encourages kids to believe in themselves and dream big! After the reading, we have even more fun in store!
What to Expect:
- Interactive Braille Activities: Children of all ages can get hands-on with braille, the literacy tool for the blind, and learn how it helps the blind and visually impaired read and explore the world of books.
- Tour of the Braille Collection: After the activities, take a tour of the library’s braille collection in the children’s section—a treasure trove of stories for all readers, whether sighted or blind.
This is a free event that’s perfect for families and children of all ages. Come out and celebrate literacy and inclusion with us!
